John is the Senior Veterinary Pathologist at the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS) in Adelaide. He is also an Affiliate Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pathology at the University of Adelaide and a member of the Hanson Institute Centre for Neurological Diseases, the Hanson being the research arm of the IMVS. He has a long-standing interest in neurological disorders, including animal modelling of human central nervous system diseases, and has conducted pathological examinations for a number of NH&MRC-sponsored studies designed to determine whether exposure to mobile telephony damages the brain and increases the incidence of tumours in laboratory animals.
